One of the hottest trends in marketing is the idea of Artificial Intelligence or A.I. for short. This is the idea that machines can do jobs for us with the ability to think and create. Although many aspects of our society are without a doubt gonna be affected by this in the near future, I am very curious to see how it will affect marketing and particularly sales. Sure A.I. can be used to run a factory or design something spectacular, but is it necessary when it comes to getting your brand out there? Maybe depending on the size of your brand it is, but you have to wonder where demographics can play an interesting role in it. For instance, in a state like West Virginia, many people buy and recognize brands based off of loyalty. They want to be able to put a name to a face and trust the people they buy from. Do you think people in a community like this want to talk to a robot or buy based purely off of an add on there phone. A lot of times I really do not think so. So many business relationships and sales are done from having trust in who you are working with in this state. People truly benefit from face-to-face interaction in sales, I would hate to see that completely disappear in the coming ages in sales.
